Vallenda was born from a simple idea: every valley has its legend
In Chile, there are entire valleys dedicated to wine, with stories, people, and landscapes that few ever truly tell. Vallenda exists to find and share them, without snobbery and without unnecessary technical jargon.

We believe wine is enjoyed more when you understand the land and the people behind every bottle, not just the label.
It all started with a simple question: why in Chile, with entire valleys dedicated to wine, was there no place telling these stories the way they deserve? Travel guides talk about tour schedules and routes. Fact sheets talk about acidity and tannins. No one was telling the legend behind it all: the story of the first vine planted, the harvest that was almost lost, the family that has tended the same land for generations.
Vallenda was created to fill that space. We write for those just stepping into the world of wine as much as for those who can tell a Carmenère from a Cabernet Sauvignon with their eyes closed. Without unnecessary technical jargon, without snobbery: just the stories that make a glass of wine mean a little more.

Why we do it
We don’t believe wine needs to sound complicated to be enjoyed. We believe it needs context: knowing where it comes from, who made it, and what story it carries. That is the mission of Vallenda, valley by valley.
